LIFE IN THE PARK IS NOT A PICNIC - SO TRY THE FREEWAY UNDERPASS

PARKS THAT WATER TO KEEP PEOPLE OFF THE GROUND, wet and cold, that hose down benches and tables, to keep people from using them, that have sprinklers going off during the day instead of night, are not welcoming spaces for homeless.

Usually if you sleep under a tree you won't be bothered during the day, but at night it may be illegal to sleep there.

Here in Southern California FREEWAY UNDERPASSES and the vegetation around them are used by many homeless as a camp though the toxic fumes of vehicles and a lot of garbage around make the breathing bad and the sleep uncomfortable.

Are some of these homeless drunk or high? Sure some are. Not all.

People who are not addicted and who have no mental illness and are not mothers with children have the most difficult time being taken into a shelter.
