ARE LIBRARIANS HAVING COMPASSION FATIGUE? PUBLIC LIBRARIES AND THE HOMELESS

When do the rights of the homeless really impinge upon the rights of other patrons? Are unsightliness and odor enough reason to bar homeless people from the library?  A number of articles on the net are saying that librarians are having "Compassion Fatigue."
