UPDATE for 2016-2017 COLD WEATHER SHELTERS - PLEASE CALL 211 to FIND A SHELTER OR VERIFY THAT THE LIST BELOW IS STILL OPERATIONAL.  We've been looking for current information on the Internet and are running into a lot of very old useless news.  THERE SHOULD BE OPENINGS BEGINNING END OF OCTOBER 2016.

It is official- Hope of the Valley will be operating the Sylmar Winter Shelter and the Pacoima Winter Shelter serving the Valley, Burbank and Glendale. We will be opening 220 beds beginning November 1st. As details become available we will let you know. We are in partnership with the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, The City of Los Angeles and the County of Los Angeles. Volunteers will be needed!
