"In 1985, I began delivering food, blankets and clothing to those in need. Since then, AFH has grown to more than 330 units of emergency, transitional, and permanent housing. On any given night, more than 1,000 clients who would otherwise be homeless, now have a safe place to sleep, food to eat, and hope for a better tomorrow. American Family Housing (AFH, also known as Shelter for the Homeless) is a nonprofit organization that provides Emergency,Transitional and Permanent Affordable Housing. AFH has operated in Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino counties for over 25 years, expanding our programs and properties each year to help more people." Jim Miller -Executive Director
